MORE INSPIRATION

*Arakawa & Gins

Two artists producing amazing work that delves into the boundaries between art and architecture. Their spatial works play with researching and changing the learned behaviours of how someone moves around a space through architecture and design. Such a crazy wonderful concept!

INSPIRATION

* El Lissitzky- Proun Room (1923)

A suprematist who Created artwork that delved into theories of Spatial Culture through design, art and architecture. Lissitzky called his paintings and prints "proun" which provided an interchange station between art and architecture.

"Proun Room" (1923) was Lissitzky's expression of suprematist visual and spatial elements. Taking a geometric, multi point perspective image re-creating it into a three-dimensional form in a living working space.

Cool stuff for 1923 and a big inspiration in our piece for the 'Get Lucky' Installation.

Get Lucky @ the Substation

These pic's capture some of the conceptual installation as installed by Rob & Tom from Panther concepts as a part of the Get Lucky graphic design graduate event held at Substation no4 in Paddington..

The installation consisted of three kilometers of red wool strung throughout the substation and interacting with a six window partition through which a 5 minute animation could be viewed. Complete with red lighting the artwork carried through the room, entwining both the viewer and the space into an experience of art..

well done to Benny & the team from the Substation for putting on a fun night..
